What to Expect at The Legacy on Possum Run

 

🏛️ What’s Included

  • Access to the venue spaces outlined in your agreement

  • Tables, chairs, and setup included

  • Over 2,000 décor items available at no additional cost
    (based on availability and must be returned in original condition)

  • Access to rent many additional items and services

  • At least one Legacy staff member with you at all times

⏰ Access & Timing

  • Venue opens: 9:00 AM

    Friday & Saturday Events

  • Events end by: 10:00 PM

  • Premises vacated by: 11:00 PM

    Weekday and Sunday Events

  • Events end by: 9:00 PM

  • Premises vacated by: 10:00 PM

🗓️ Set-Up & Rehearsals

Two-Day Events

  • Includes up to 6 hours the day prior for:

    • Decorating

    • Rehearsal

    • Rehearsal dinner

  • Hours available are between 10a.m. and 7p.m. (you must pick a consecutive 6 hours)

    Single Day Events

  • Access the day of the event beginning at 9 a.m.

  • You are always welcome to do a ceremony run through during one of our open houses

💰 Payments & Fees

  • $500 deposit due at booking (non-refundable once contract is signed)

  • Payment schedule varies based on booking timeline

  • Final balance due no later than 30 days prior to event

 Payment Notes

  • Credit card fees apply based on card type

  • ACH payments available at a lower rate

  • Processing fees are calculated at the end and paid separately by check

🚨 Cancellations & Changes

  • All payments are non-refundable

  • Date changes require a rescheduling fee and new agreement

🧾 Damage, Cleanup & Décor

  • $300 refundable damage deposit required

  • Venue must be cleaned and cleared after event

Décor

  • Included at no cost

  • Must be returned in original condition

  • May not be removed from the property

⚖️ Insurance

  • Event insurance required ($1,000,000 minimum)

  • Must be submitted 60 days prior

🍽️ Food & Catering

  • Outside caterers allowed

  • No frying or grease-heavy cooking

  • 90% of cooking needs to happen OFF site

🍷 Bar Service

  • Beer, wine, and seltzers only

  • No liquor or beverages containing liquor

  • Certified or Tips certified bartender required

⚙️ Venue Guidelines

  • Children must be supervised

  • No parking on grass

  • No fireworks or bonfires

  • Restricted areas off-limits

🌧️ Unexpected Events

If something outside of anyone’s control occurs:

  • We will work with you to reschedule

  • No rescheduling fees will apply

  • Original pricing will be honored
