2027 Wedding Venue Giveaway — Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID OUTSIDE OHIO AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor
This giveaway is sponsored and administered by The Legacy on Possum Run ("The Legacy" or "Sponsor"), located at 5384 Possum Run Road in Bellville, Ohio.
2. Prize
One eligible winner will receive a complimentary Single-Day Wedding Venue Rental Package at The Legacy on Possum Run, with an approximate retail value of $3,500–$5,500, depending on the eligible date selected.
The package accommodates up to 175 guests and includes venue rental and complimentary décor normally included with The Legacy's standard single-day rental package.
The prize is valid only for an available wedding date in April or May 2027, subject to the availability and selection requirements outlined in these Official Rules.
The giveaway covers the venue rental package only and does not include an all-inclusive wedding.
3. Eligibility
The giveaway is open exclusively to individuals who:
Are legal residents of the State of Ohio.
Are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
Are legally eligible to enter into a binding venue rental agreement.
Do not currently have an existing wedding venue booking, rental agreement, or lease with The Legacy on Possum Run.
This giveaway is for new bookings only.
Individuals or couples who already have an existing venue booking or rental agreement with The Legacy are not eligible to receive the prize or apply it toward an existing reservation.
Employees of The Legacy, its owners, and their immediate family members are also ineligible.
The potential winner may be required to provide documentation verifying identity, age, Ohio residency, and eligibility.
Void outside Ohio and where prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
Entrants must complete and submit the official giveaway entry form available at:

No purchase, payment, or venue booking is required to enter or win.
Limit one entry per person.
Following The Legacy's social media pages or liking, commenting on, tagging others in, or sharing promotional posts is encouraged but is not required and does not increase the odds of winning.
Entries must be completed accurately and submitted through the official entry form.
5. Entry Deadline
The giveaway entry period ends on:
Friday, November 13, 2026, at 11:00 PM Eastern Time.
All entries must be successfully received before this deadline.
Late or incomplete entries will not be eligible.
6. Winner Selection and Announcement
One potential winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received before the deadline.
The drawing will take place during The Legacy on Possum Run's Annual Vendor Open House on:
Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 2:30 PM Eastern Time.
Participants do not need to be present to win.
The potential winner will be contacted using the information provided on the official entry form.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. Claiming the Prize and Winner Verification
The potential winner must respond to The Legacy within 48 hours of notification.
Before the prize is awarded, the potential winner may be required to provide reasonable documentation verifying:
Identity and age.
Legal Ohio residency.
Eligibility under these Official Rules.
Ability to enter into the required rental agreement.
If the potential winner fails to respond within the required timeframe, does not provide requested verification, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, the prize may be forfeited.
In that event, The Legacy reserves the right to select an alternate winner through another random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.
8. Wedding Date Selection and Availability
The prize is valid exclusively for an available wedding date in April or May 2027.
Only dates that remain available as of November 15, 2026, at 2:30 PM Eastern Time are eligible for selection.
No dates are held or reserved for entrants before the drawing.
The winner must select an eligible available date within 7 calendar days of notification.
The selected date must be confirmed by The Legacy and documented in the signed venue rental agreement.
Once the wedding date is selected and confirmed, it cannot be changed.
If the winner fails to select an eligible date within the required timeframe, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
The winner must comply with all terms of The Legacy's standard rental agreement and venue policies.
9. Prize Restrictions
The prize:
Is non-transferable.
Cannot be sold, gifted, or assigned to another individual or couple.
Has no cash redemption value.
Cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or another package.
Cannot be applied to an existing booking, rental agreement, or lease.
Cannot be used for a date outside the eligible April or May 2027 period.
No substitutions or alternate dates will be provided except as otherwise required by applicable law.
10. Additional Expenses and Requirements
The giveaway covers the specified Single-Day Wedding Venue Rental Package only.
Expenses not expressly included in the package remain the winner's responsibility, including but not limited to:
Catering and food services.
DJ or entertainment services.
Photography or videography.
Alcohol and bartending services.
Outside vendors.
Additional rentals, services, or upgrades.
Other expenses associated with planning and hosting the wedding.
The winner must also satisfy the following requirements under The Legacy's standard rental agreement:
A $300 refundable damage deposit.
Required event insurance, purchased at the winner's expense.
The damage deposit will be administered and refunded, if applicable, according to the terms of the signed rental agreement.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or be selected as the winner. The requirements listed above apply only to the use of the awarded venue rental package.
11. Cancellation and Forfeiture
If the winner cancels the wedding, fails to use the selected wedding date, or does not comply with the terms of the signed rental agreement, the prize will be forfeited.
In such circumstances, no replacement date, alternate prize, cash refund, or compensation will be provided, except as required by applicable law.
The prize cannot be reinstated or transferred to a future event.
12. Privacy and Use of Personal Information
Personal information submitted through the official giveaway entry form will be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, communicate with entrants as necessary, notify the potential winner, and fulfill the prize.
The Legacy may retain entry information for legitimate business, administrative, and legal recordkeeping purposes, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Entrants may separately choose to receive future marketing communications from The Legacy. Consent to receive marketing communications is optional and is not required to enter or win.
Personal information will not be publicly disclosed except as permitted by applicable law or as reasonably necessary to administer the giveaway.
13. Invalid Entries and Technical Errors
The Legacy is not responsible for entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, corrupted, delayed, misdirected, or not received because of technical issues, internet interruptions, website errors, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
An entry is considered received only when successfully submitted through the official entry form before the published deadline.
Proof of attempted submission does not constitute proof of receipt.
The Legacy reserves the right to reject invalid or incomplete entries consistent with these Official Rules and applicable law.
14. Disqualification
The Legacy reserves the right to disqualify an entrant who:
Provides false, misleading, or inaccurate information.
Submits more entries than permitted.
Uses automated, fraudulent, or deceptive entry methods.
Attempts to manipulate or interfere with the entry or drawing process.
Does not meet the published eligibility requirements.
Violates these Official Rules.
Disqualification decisions will be based on reasonable, documented grounds and applicable law.
15. Promotion Integrity and Modifications
If fraud, technical failures, unauthorized interference, or circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control materially compromise the fairness or administration of the giveaway, The Legacy reserves the right to suspend, modify, or cancel the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
Any material changes will be communicated through the official giveaway webpage.
If a fair drawing remains possible, The Legacy may select a winner from eligible entries received before the interruption, subject to applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Legacy on Possum Run, its owners, employees, representatives, and agents shall not be responsible for losses, claims, or damages arising from participation in the giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Official Rules limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
The winner's use of the venue will also be governed by The Legacy's signed rental agreement.
17. Publicity and Winner Announcement
The Legacy may publicly announce the winner's first name, last initial, and general city of residence, as permitted by applicable law.
Any additional use of the winner's photographs, likeness, personal story, or wedding images for advertising or promotional purposes will require appropriate permission.
18. Taxes
The winner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with receiving the prize.
The Legacy may request tax information or issue applicable tax documentation if required by law.
The winner is encouraged to consult a tax professional regarding any tax obligations associated with the prize.
19. Applicable Law and Disputes
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, subject to applicable federal law and any mandatory legal protections.
Any disputes relating to the giveaway shall be handled in accordance with applicable Ohio and federal law.
20. Social Media Disclaimer
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.
Entrants acknowledge that the promotion is administered solely by The Legacy on Possum Run and not by these social media platforms.
21. Official Rules and Winner Information
The complete Official Rules will be made available through:

Requests for information about the confirmed winner may be submitted directly to The Legacy on Possum Run, subject to applicable privacy and disclosure laws.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
23. Entire Agreement
These Official Rules govern the giveaway and supersede conflicting promotional descriptions to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The winner's use of the venue will additionally be subject to The Legacy's standard rental agreement.
Participation in the giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules, subject to applicable law.
